Dear Valued Producers, Business Partners, and Friends,

Christmas is the time of year when we celebrate the coming of the light of the world, God's greatest gift, His Son. While we all share in this gift, we in turn, give thanksgiving for the abundance of blessings we have received the whole year, offer gratitude to family and friends that we have journeyed with, and express hope in the coming of our Lord and Savior.

Truly, the holiday season is traditionally a time for giving, but it also calls on our social responsibility to consider a gift that will make a difference in a lot of lives. The Management and Staff of Paramount Life & General affirm this endeavor to spread holiday cheer and Christ's goodness beyond the usual gift-giving, by donating money intended for corporate giveaways to charity.

Paramount has chosen to pledge support to the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, whose vision is to empower the community by providing homes, food, and education for every Filipino.

The money will be used to promote GK's child and youth development, by building a community preschool in Calbayog, Mandaluyong, to be called the Paramount Sibol School.

While this can be considered a small contribution to the transformation of our community, we know that no gift is too small for these eager young minds, who have as much right to learn as our own children.

We have also donated to Gawad Kalinga 75,000 out of the total amount raised during the recently concluded Paramount Idol, a singing competition fund-raising activity participated and organized by Paramount employees, towards building a home for a GK community.
