Medical Treatment
This covers the usual, customary, necessary and reasonable costs
of hospitalization, surgery, medical fees and pharmaceutical
products in case of accident and illness during your trip.
2. Emergency Evacuation and Assistance
In the event of an accident or sudden illness, Paramount will
arrange for the most appropriate means to evacuate you to
a properly equipped health center or to the Philippines.
3. Emergency Dental Care
Paramount will provide you with the dental assistance required
during your trip for the treatment of pain, infection and
removal of the tooth affected.
4. Additional Cost of Travel and Accommodation
Should you be hospitalized for more than five days, Paramount
will cover the additional accommodation and traveling expenses
incurred by one immediate family members accompanying you
at the moment.
5. Repatriation Expense
Paramount will arrange and pay for repatriation of the insured's
mortal remains to the Philippines in the event of death due
to sickness or accident during the trip.
6. Child Guard
This arranges and pays a suitable person to look after any
unattended minor children who are traveling with you and accompany
them home, if necessary, in the event you are hospitalized
during the trip.
7. Family Member Visit
Should you be hospitalized for more than five days during
the trip, Paramount will pay for the transportation and accommodation
expenses of an immediate family member to be at your side.
8. Emergency Return
Should you need to cut your trip short because of the death
of a close family member, Paramount will meet the travel cost
of your return home.
9. Medicine Delivery
Should your doctor, during your trip, prescribe you a medicine
which cannot be found or replaced in the place you have traveled
to, Paramount will take charge of delivering the medicines
to you.
10. Live Messaging
Paramount will arrange for the relaying of your urgent messages
to your family, friends or business associates.
11. Medical Information Service
Upon request, you will be provided with medical information
by Paramount's doctor.
12. Medical Referral
You may call the 24-hour Global Travel Protect hotline to
access or get referral to any accredited medical center or
medical practioner in Paramount's international network.
13. Connection Services
You may call the 24-hour Global Travel Protect hotline to
obtain miscellaneous services such as car rental referral
and reservations in the country you have traveled to.
14. Bail Bond
Paramount will advance the funds for any legal bond required
on your behalf.
15. Trip Cancellation
Pays for all irrecoverable deposits, advance payments and
other charges paid or due to be paid for travel and/or accommodation
in the event your trip is cancelled due to any of the following
events:
- death, serious injury or sickness of the Insured Person,
immediate family or person with whom you had arranged to travel,
reside or conduct business with, or his/her immediate family.
- unexpected outbreak of strike, riot, adverse weather conditions,
mechanical breakdown or other covered events.
- major damage rendering uninhabitable the accommodation in
which you had previously booked to reside during your trip.
16. Trip Delay
Paramount will pay for the cost of additional accommodation
or travel expenses in the event of transport services being
delayed for more than 8 hours due to a covered reason.
17. Loss of Baggage
Will supplement the compensation for which the carrier is
liable for your lost baggage.
18. Lost and Found
In the event your baggage and personal possessions are recovered,
Paramount will arrange of forwarding them to the place of
your travel or to your home.
