Summary of benefits and limits:
Vehicle Assistance (max. of 2 non-accident related incidents in a year):
  • Towing of insured vehicle (up to P4,000)
  • On-site emergency repairs
  • Addresses and telephone numbers of Paramount accredited motor shops
  • Claims assistance
Personal Assistance:
  • Hotel accommodations (up to P1,000/day; max. of 2 days)
  • Alternative transport to place of residence or destination
  • Medical transport and admission
  • Legal referral to local legal counsel
  • Emergency message relay service
Eligible vehicles (all conditions must be met):
  1. Vehicles not more than 8 years old, being: -
  2. Private cars, pick-ups, SUVs or vans (trucks, canters, etc. are excluded)
  3. Vehicles carrying a Paramount comprehensive policy
  4. Vehicles with Auto PA coverage (based on the maximum seating capacity of the vehicle); and
  5. Vehicles with policies incepting Oct. 1, 2003 or onwards
Insured incident:
Immobilisation of the insured vehicle as a result of breakdown (electrical or mechanical failure), fire, theft, accidental damage, flat tire, lack of fuel, battery boosting and/or lockout occurring within the territorial limits during the period of insurance.
 
Paramount Assist Exclusions:
  • Vehicles used for public transport of persons or merchandise, for hire with or without a driver
  • Vehicles exceeding 3,500 kilograms in weight
  • Vehicles carrying yellow license plates
PARAMOUNT ASSIST
The services may be availed of in case of any electrical or mechanical failure; road traffic accident; or loss, damage or destruction by fire or theft that leads to vehicular immobilisation of the insured vehicle.
